Welcome!

Tanglewood Weddings and Events Barn is a rustic venue located in southern Indiana that includes a modern barn with heat and A/C, an outdoor shelter house, a lake with a dock, multiple ceremony sites, a bridal suite, and a groom cabin. We host all different types of events, including wedding ceremonies and receptions, corporate events, reunions, baby showers, birthday parties, and so much more!

Shelley and Gary

Owners and operators


Shelley has lived on the 7th generation family farm for 34 years with her husband Gary. The McDaniel family farms over 1,400 acres of corn, seed beans, wheat, and hay. The family also raises livestock and are very big supporters of the county's 4H and FFA programs. You can always find Shelley and Gary working or attending community events and supporting local businesses/programs!

Jessica

Owner and operator


Jessica has a A.A.S. and B.B.A. in hospitality management. She has been working in the hospitality industry since she was 15, and has been serving specifically in the wedding industry for over 6 years since she moved to Indiana from New York in 2013. Jessica and Derrike McDaniel have 2 children together, who Jessica is hoping will take over the barn someday to pass down to many generations to come!
